How do I get hold of a Charisma parking permit for cut-price
parking?
If you live in the Cheshire West and Chester Council
area then you can now buy a Charisma parking permit valid
in selected Chester City centre car parks until June
30th 2013.
The parking permits are displayed in your car
windscreen and cost £5 each.You just display the car parking
permit with your valid parking ticket in your car windscreen
(please no not display your Charisma Card)

Charisma car parking permits give you the following
discounts:
- Little Roodee Car Park - CH1 1SL
– Up to 6 hours parking for the price of 3 hours
- The Market Car Park (St Martins Way) - CH1 2BB
– Up to 4 hours parking for the price of 2 hours
* The Market Car Park is accessible from Princess Street
and St Martins Way. If you wish to use your Charisma car park
permit please only enter from the St Martins Way
entrance. Drivers entering from Princess Street MUST pay on
foot before leaving and will not be able to receive the Charisma
discount.
- Watergate Street Car Park (formerly Crane Street) -CH1
2LY
– Up to 6 hours parking for the price of 3 hours (please note
this has changed from the original offer printed on the 2013
parking permit)
- Cuppin Street CH1 2BN
– Up to 4 hours parking for the price of 2 hours
- Gorse Stacks - CH1 3EN
- Up to 4 hours parking for the price of 2 hours

You can apply for a new Charisma parking permit in a number of
ways:
- Complete the online application

- Apply by post, sending application to Charisma Parking Permit,

Available to Cheshire West and Chester residents
only:
- One Charisma parking permit required for each car
registered
- Your Charisma parking permit is only valid for your current car
(the permit includes your car registration number). If you change
your car registration please bring in your current car park permit
and we will issue you with a new complimentary permit.
- Discounts only available if your Charisma permit is displayed
in your car windscreen (you will not receive discounts by
displaying your Charisma Card)
- Charisma Parking Permits are valid from 1st July 2012
until 30th June 2013.
* Free After Three:
Parking in Chester is Free after 3pm at the Market Car Park
(Princess Street), Gorse Stacks and St Annes Street Car Park.
- Gorse Stacks car park - park for free after 3pm
daily.
- The Market car park (Princess Street)* - park for free
after 3pm daily.
- Brook Street car park - park for free after 3pm daily.
Please note: if you arrive in the car park before 3pm you must
buy a pay and display ticket to cover you until the free period
begins.
